As of last Saturday, 14th August 2021, all Atlantic Scholarships clients departed Irish shores to begin their respective journeys as student-athletes in the USA.
Sean Kerrigan (Soccer)
Tubbercurry, Sligo native Sean Kerrigan landed in Erie, Pennsylvania last week to begin life as a laker with Mercyhurst University. Previous to the move, Sean enjoyed a fantastic end to the season with Finn Harps FC earning himself a call up to the first-team squad on several occasions.
Sean will begin the season at home to West Liberty University on Thursday, September 2nd at 14:00 PM (EST).
Enrollment at Mercyhurst University's Erie campus is nearly 4,500 students. The school offers many disciplines to major in including 50 undergraduate programmes.
Mercyhurst is a private university that competes in the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II.
Tyler Stallard (Soccer)
Tyler has already featured for Coastal Bend College in their pre-season outings against St. Mary's University and the University of the Incarnate Word. Coastal Bend College is based in Beeville, Texas.
Tyler will study and play at the college for the next two years before transferring to a four-year university.
The campus offers hundreds of academic courses in 27 concentration areas. Tyler's season schedule has been released and the team is fighting for a national championship.
Next up the team plays Texas A&M University, San Antonio. We wish him the very best.

Mason Collins (Golf)
Our first-ever golf client Mason Collins was the last student-athlete to leave Ireland to attend Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa.
Mason is a transfer student who attended the Institute of Technology, Sligo for the past year. The scratch golfer joins an array of talent that will be competing in the NAIA regionalised competitions this year.
Briar Cliff offers 58 academic programmes ranging from accounting to theology.
Mason joins a programme that has recently enjoyed success in women's golf with the team scoring second in the WGCA All-Scholar Team with a cumulative GPA of 3.918.
Matthew O'Reilly (Soccer)
Cork native Matthew O'Reilly will be linking up with Rogers State University based in Claremore, Oklahoma. O'Reilly enjoyed a successful youth spell with Cork City FC prior to accepting an offer from the Hillcats.
Matty joins a team that has been ranked number one in the Great American Conference - MIAA.
With Matty being a true freshman, he will have several years to decide his major.
RSU currently offers bachelor's degrees in 17 disciplines and associate degrees in 13 disciplines. In 2013, the university was granted approval to offer its first graduate degree program, a Master of Business Administration that was to begin in fall 2014.
