My Journey

Before graduating from Millikin University in 2018, Ben played academy football with Sligo Rovers F.C. in the Airtricty League u19 division.

"Like everyone, I always had the dream of playing professional football. When I finished my time at Sligo Rovers u19's there were no professional options for me".

"Luckily, I realised that obtaining a degree whilst also playing full-time is an alternative option. I knew that I wanted to go to the united states, but didn’t really know how to go about it. I went down the path of trying to do it on my own. In hindsight, I should’ve gone through a consultancy which would have saved me in the long run".

"I ended up securing a scholarship to Millikin University, an NCAA Div III college in Decatur, Illinois. I was all-conference my sophomore and junior year. I graduated from Millikin in 2018 with a BA in Communication".

"For someone like me who unfortunately didn't secure a professional deal after u19 level, there are very few options. The USA route made so much sense for me personally. I was able to play at a very good standard whilst also completing a degree. It's a fantastic option for players. That's why I wanted to found this business. We are able to provide a pathway for young people and help them along their journey. Making a difference in these student-athlete's lives is something that I'm very proud of".
